We do not speak of what happened on saturday afternoon. We ended up in a gay bar in West Brompton, where we were the loudest and most likely to yell at the players, and the penalty shoot-out was spent with us and two of the people sitting next to us in the bar clutching at each other and going 'arrgh'.

London Film and Comic Con was amusing. Have new bag with 'Exorcist - the Beginning' on it. Spent a while talking to John McCrae, who hates Batman Begins once it gets past the first 20 minutes with a deep and passionate loathing, told me the origins of Bueno Excellente, there's a JLA Classified issue where Tommy Monaghan meets the JLA - and yes, he uses the x-ray vision on Diana - and I am now in the possession of a sketch of Jenny Sparks and Tommy sitting at a bar being served by Baytor. The opinion is that Tommy and Jenny would meet, get wasted, and then shag. It's the natural order of things.

Giggled whenever the UK Garrison went past. There were also Tauntauns from the Rebel Alliance. Went 'oooooooo, *pretty*' at Kristen's Chronicles of Riddick outfit, pointing out that it can double for useage at ridiculously swanky events. When asking at the UK Garrison Stand if they'd seen Kristen, they tend to go 'errr, who?' until you say 'your Padme?'

Was not there on Sunday. Did not get to see the fabulousness that is John. :pout:

Dr Who was 'oooooooooooooooo'. Also, it's all about the gay people defending the earth, really it is. And yes, the Confidential had the flat squeeing something chronic, because Torchwood! Snippets of the new series! John! Cardiff! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

sunday. For some reason internet booked tickets ended up in First Class. A new and interesting experience, with large seats, decent temperature, and tea and coffee. The only downside being that the tea and coffee people came round every half hour or so, so it was impossible to doze off as I'd planned to due to all the clinking.

family gathering like unto most family gatherings. lots of talk. Raiding of food. Raiding of drink.

On the way back, no first class, but there was apparently a fight in the vestibule behind me - which I completely failed to notice beyond the call for staff to come to Coach E. Such is the power of dozing. also felt completely justified in inflicting grevious bodily harm on person sitting next to me, who stretched his legs out right across my space and thus trod on my foot five times. Eventually he got the point once I'd kicked his leg out of the way for the fifth time and crossed his ankles to prevent getting on my side. Also further injury to his ankles.

Shiny new phone. Motorola 31070. Spent last night transferring ringtones over. The consensus at work is that it is very sci-fi, but we're not sure if it's ugly or not. Also bigger than my old one, which is slightly annoying.

if I can get my hands on a scanner....

(oh,and it's apparently caused by a film onthe Italina porn channel John and his brother were watching in a hotel room - ugly little guy in it, whose entire dialogue was 'bueno. bueno. bueno. excellente.' and he then submitted this idea to Ennis when they were creating the Six Pack.)

My boyfhusband introduces people to the comic and to Bueno Excellente. Then he buys them Kinder Bueno (it's for children! It has a creamy rather liquid white-ish filling!) and traumatises them for ever.

(on a very nerdy note, they're Section Eight)
