Convention panic mode

Blegh. Consensus in the office is that the weather appears to have got confused over which month is which and swapped April and May around.

There is nothing like the panic that sets in when you realise you've completely got the dates wrong for conventions. I was convinced that Duckology was end of June, when it's actually the first week - which leaves me about 2 1/2 weeks to make Hawaiian chef outfit (I only ordered the cloth last night. From Hawaii. There's no fucking way it'll get here in time, even if it does say 5-10 business days on the site), decide what I'm doing for military, get the Dale Arden outfit made, and decide what the hell I'm going to do for Father Ted night. I think I'm going to have to chuck in the towel and go as a Lovely Girl. Also need to book train tickets to Blackpool as ming doesn't appear to be going. HELP.

Also? No time whatsoever to get in shape for a bikini.

I'm going to Decalogy
but I'm not actually thinking about it until Wednesday

I'm not looking forward to all the travelling. Last time I travel up there it did not go well.

I bought an actual chef hat to go with my not very jedi like robe and collapsible light sabre. Have no clue what I'll wear on other nights. Just spent a bunch on new t-shirts though so I know what I'll wear some daytimes.

I don't think I've actually watched Father Ted even.

And School Disco... last time I tried putting a RomanaII costume together but it was so totally not me. Reckon I'll just pack something shiny.

I'm taking the more relaxed approach to Jedi Chef night and getting Caroline our official dresser to make my costume for me! The Chefs hat arrived yesterday so I will be fully clad on the night in question (everyone's been nagging me to get my gear together for ages so it will be nice to finally be in full costume!)

Are you going to Bad Wolf? I'm quite keen on meeting Gareth and Jenna Russel but having survived Asylum this weekend it would be nice to know some people in advance who are going. I'll try and talk some of the peeps who were at the London meet into going.
