Someone mentioned the quote Mr. Barrowman gives about being rejected for Will and Grace because he was 'too straight' again.

I did like Eric McCormack as Will, despite his lack of a sex life etc. However, I'm now wondering what that show would've been like if JB had got the role. Just for starters, the tone of the show would've been entirely different. Innuendo levels up to *here* for starters. Have images of Jack, Karen and JB as Will wreaking havoc something chronic and being involved in the three-way bitchfests. Grace being ignored because she could not compete with the fabulosity of the other three. And...um... knowing JB's propensity for having chemistry with everything, which includes inanimate objects, you'd then have the fandom for it. The fic. The shipper wars. People protesting that Will had too much chemistry with Grace to be truly gay. The Will/Jack OTP-ers.

I'm scaring myself now. Must. Stop.

And now I'm off to go see JB filming the Friday Night Project.

Considering Michael Rosenbaum is also capable of having sexual chemistry with inanimate objects, I really want him to make a guest appearance on Torchwood.

god yes. I think parts of the Plass might explode. (and I will womanfully resist making the comment again about Kelly Brooks' appearance on SV - the only thing in that scene he didn't have chemistry with)

Tosh : 'The Rift Monitor has... no, wait that's the sexual tension monitor. It's doubled. Jack, what did you do?'
Ianto : 'People? I need back-up in the tourist office. My leaflets are wilting and exploding.'

..Instead we're stuck with James Marsters. Bollocks. On the other hand, we do get Alan Dale guest-starring, which I am happy and squeebling about.

I didn't know about Alan Dale! That really is kind of awesome.

Though, no matter how many Corporate Moguls and Vice Presidents and Intelligence Directors he plays on American TV, he'll always be Jim Robinson to me.

And meanwhile, Jack's just leaning against his desk and Michael Rosenbaum is holding a bottle of water and the air between them is sizzling.

And Martha and Gwen are watching, eyes wide and smiling happily, albeit rather absently.
