Well, I got about 450 words written last night in about twenty minutes as soon as it was 12.01. First paragraph is ridiculously lyrical and waxes a bit effulgent, to quote one B.W. Wooster. I'm finding this a bit amusing since I'll be writing what's essentially a pulp adventure serial. With added content for Special Journalistic Purposes. Shall see how language style changes, even though I always write extra-wordy during nano just due to the fact that you're trying to up your word count at all times - why use one when you can get a description of the scene in?

Went looking for Peter-as-Methos icons, and it seems that even though Methos is in several seasons and two films of Highlander, there's only two shots anyone's really interested in iconning - the one of him with the sword over his shoulder, looking amused, and the paint-on-face one. Seriously. 90% variations on those two scenes, 10% every other scene he's ever been in.

Despair of finding any Jeremy Northam-as-Wigram icons. Oh well. Watched Enigma on fast forward last night to remind self of stuff like expressions, body language and speaking style.

hackthis is at the Entourage RPS again. :snicker: Ari's having palpitations over what George is up to with his latest project. And she has John Barrowman as one of the supporting characters in said project. It's not often you can leave a comment on an Ari-fic and point out that it's clear it's fiction, since the character isn't filthy enough, or giggly enough, hasn't flashed his co-stars yet and isn't trying to put them off their lines. And that bursting into song only once - and off-set at that, is making us raise the critical eyebrow. We'll have to feed her all of his quiz show and talk show appearances.
