Rob's away for the weekend so that option is out. There is a free hotel minibus to the station, but all that's there is a Subway and a small pub that sells pizza that's probably warmed up.
I was going to ask if anyone was pre-ordering food. I don't like this idea of being stuck having to eat pre-ordered food that can't be cancelled at short notice if I want to eat something else.
The bar was serving during the con there last month I went to, but I can see how they wouldn't suddenly want to be overwhelmed with serving 700 people individually. Apparently there's a Frankie & Bennys at the airport, anything else like the Toby Carvery would require someone wanting to move their car (something I'm not doing all weekend after visiting last time)
Subway, Frankie & Bennys & whatever I can cart with me sounds good. I just prefer being able to make a decision at the time, rather than making it now & changing my mind.
