can relate. Had to give blood samples for diabetes checks yesterday. Took the phlebotomist four attempts to get sufficient blood out of me. Now have four huge bruises and not too keen on bending my arm at all.

eeep. I don't get much more than tiny bruises that disappear after a day. (and the iron test dot in my finger that normally takes, oh, more than six months to go...)

Mind you, the girl next to me? could no longer have blood taken out of one arm due to the vein wall getting too fibrous.

Y'know, I'd just got my head around the whole blood donation thing - do not like blood tests at all - and guilted myself into it, since I'm O-neg and useful for all, when I realised they won't have me anyway. Their loss.
