A bit over-expositiony on the science. On the whole quite enjoyable but terribly shallow.

I have respect for the Archers people now. I know some of my flist have been saying 'Freema Agyeman : lovely girl, can't act' for a while now, but good lord, on radio, the lack of variation in her vocal performance is really, really bloody obvious. TWO TONES OF VOICE. Which aren't that different.

Eve, Gareth and John sounded like they were having far too much fun, though. Loved the various asides and little things like them taking down a weevil in the background.

And JB got to reverse the polarity of the neutron flow. Hee. Everyone, get your hands in position...

However : I can't believe not a single review I was looking at over on [livejournal.com profile] torch_wood mentioned Ianto making Ferrero Rocher jokes. I almost killed myself laughing at those. it wasn't enough Martha introduced Ianto as the Welsh ambassador, Gwen as his wife and Jack as his assistant (see Jack pout), they had to have Ianto say 'excellente'. And later? 'You're really spoiling us'.

Hah, I'd completely forgotten this was coming up! Shall go and grab the download right now. A bit of shallow TW-y fun sounds good to me :-)

I sky-plus`d it. We watched it constantly wondering WHY the visual wasn`t working !
It WAS very superficial, but I`m used to Dr Who audio stories so it wasn`t toooo much of a disapointment.

Coming Saturday ???
