Congratulations!

I'll have to have another go at NaNoWriMo at some point. I started on a thing a few years ago, but it stalled both due to sudden increase in workload at work and home, and because after the first chapter/1k words the female lead had seen her fiancee shag a sheep and then being raped by a jealous ram. There didn't seem to be much I could do to top that.

:blink: the most that's ever really happened in my fic is bloody evisceration. Oh, and the horribly painful extended slapstick scene, which was just mental cruelty.

I find it just slightly amusing that every year my mother goes 'do you have to do this, you wreck your sleep even more than usual, you never even try to publish, what's the point?'

then this year, dad saw the chocolate supplies and went '...do you really need that much chocolate?'
