Finally read nation (nano happened, then the rest of my family did, and then my brother somehow managed to pack it in with the rest of his stuff on Boxing Day, so I finally read it today.)

Wow. Just... wow. so much thinking. Lots of anger. the world. Everyone. Humans. And when you put it down, after the epilogue, you sit there and go '...Wow. That was just so awesome.'

Sir Terry, I'm just going to sit here and go wow.

Isn't it just fabulous? When I finished reading it the first time I went back to the start and read it again right away.

Yeah, I wasn't sure I was going to like it, or rather that it wasn't really aimed at me. But the second half of the book convinced me. I will reread it soon.

You can be even more impressed when it is performed as a play at the National Theatre in November. It's being adapted by Mark Ravenhill.

Pretty much what I said. Acquired it by mistake, loved it from start to finish. Serendipity strikes.
