Brought leather trench in to dump at charity shop at lunch, then spotted Morag (steampunk obsessed girlie) and shoved it at her. Perfect fit (she's taller and bigger than me, but everyone always underestimates how broad my shoulders are), just knee-length on her rather'n calf as it is on me. shoved her at http://www.justgiving.co.uk/kaiowen and told her it was hers for a tenner donated there.

Tomorrow, we get in at 10 and have to vacate office by 11:45 with everything packed, no internets. Then spend rest of day in an apparent brainstorming meeting. Monday, moving to Gray's Inn road. Sulk. No Oxford street within ten minutes' walk, and no soho or easy 'hrrm, what shall I go see tonight, shall get tickets from box office during lunch'. The office will be shiny and new but it's not exactly compensation for awesomeness of location.

Mind you, given our IT dept, I give no hope for our network working on monday.

:pokes podge: I think we will be starting jogging on friday. this is not negotiable. It's finally getting light enough, and it's this or the hotpants fitness dvd. and you know how much fun *that* is... (not to mention trying to do a fitness dvd would mean putting it on my laptop in the bloody sitting room - our tv is in the study which just fits one sofa and the computer desk.)

You're lucky ... my London office moved to Southwark ... so Oxford Street or any decent shops are difficult ... and now I'm mostly in the outskirts of Cambridge I can walk to
a) tesco
b) one sandwich shop
c) one corner shop
d) one small sub-post office
e) one bridal shop (!)
f) er, not much else!

Otherwise it's a bus or a drive (or a cycle ride if you're a cyclist, which I haven't been, but it's time to start!)

Depending on which end of Greys Inn Road, Tottenham Court Road/Oxford Street not that far - a couple stops on train if near Chancery Lane end.
I used to work on chancery Lane, and could always go back & forth to Tottenham Court Road with time to spare, in my lunch break.
