Seriously. Simon Cowell's reaction is a beautiful, beautiful thing. I'm on my fifth time of watching her performance and the judges' reaction is only a tiny amount of the glee.

Watched Southland. oooooooo. Damn these well-made cop-shows.

I adore the statement one blogger used about Cowell : 'grinning like someone with a crush' It's just.... fucking amazing voice, and then you see Simon's eyebrows and Amanda jolted out of her comfort zone, and Piers cannot stop grinning. Then the litany of Amanda, everything from the tears to standing up and clapping halfway through, to her keeping the beat as Susan goes for the big crescendo. I watched a couple of previous years' auditions that were linked and I don't remember seeing Piers and Amanda getting to their feet to give standing ovations. Apparently she's already in talks with the record labels. countdown to her signing a contract in 3...2....

My mum used to listen to Paul Potts 'cause one of her drivers had his CD on, and she caught the recap show he did - HE didn't get the reception Susan got and hewassingingNessuneffingDorma! O.O I hope she gets a recording contract BEFORE she wins the competition. 'Cause really, is there any chance she could LOSE with a voice like that?? O.O

I'm really amused by the whole thing, and she definitely did that well. I've never watched the show, but knew there was someone local on it after the local press had a fit about Piers Morgan calling Blackburn a dump. Steve's parents watched the show, and they showed him the reaction so he showed me on Sunday. I just about fell about giggling at Piers, Simon and Amanda's reactions. Hee!

Also, I'm seeing it mentioned all over the place today.
