matching scar fun

:sigh: I have a burn scar on my left forearm, from getting plates out of the oven.

Tonight? I just managed to get a matching one on my right from getting the plates out.

This will go nicely with the small shiny spots in the crooks of my elbows from getting a tray out and someone bumping me.

they're just annoying. because they don't itch, they're just these shiny spots that look weirdly coloured against your skin. I mean, the burn scar on my stomach is probably my biggest one, and people go 'oooo, looks nasty, what's it from?' and I have to admit it was from stir-frying pesto.

Can't help feeling just a smidge better that I'm not the only clot in the kitchen, though ;-) I'm currently sporting a nice nick on my thumb where I managed to slice not just through a carrot but through my skin. To coin a phrase, doh!
