Home Office. Idiots.

Home Office wants to introduce an extra level of security checks at airports, which the airlines are saying is unnecessary red tape and could make some check-ins up to 4 hours long. Story.
This is in response to the LA shootings on Thursday. And all I can say in response is "Idiots!". Perhaps they haven't considered that the UK has one of the tightest security systems in the world, due to the whole Troubles (Northern Ireland for those who aren't familiar with the lingo) factor. Russia and a few other places are above us, but that's about it. LA? I've been to LA. Me and my brother spent our whole time in the airport going 'do they have no idea?'. It's got possibly the most lax security you've ever seen, not to mention a load of easily accessible janitors' cupboards all along the walls, no police, underpaid airport security, you could drive a tractor through the space to get through the check-in desks... need I go on?
