In process of deleting stuff off work comp and home comp - things I'm never going to listen to/watch, stuff that's 'er...what?', old versions of programs, etc. 2gb off the home comp already.

Fandom facepalm with a side order of irritation/sandbox pouty.

Someone did the 'oh, I've compiled a comprehensive lj comm guide for the fandom on this page because there isn't one!'

Me : :jawdrop: '....YOU MEAN THE COMM THAT'S BEEN AROUND FOR MONTHS THAT LISTS MOST OF THESE ALREADY?'

...and someone told her about it in the comments and she's added it to the 'general fandom' list. Gaaaaaah.
Also doing a bit of a teeth grind because she's listed several that have no content yet that I specifically hadn't added because of this.

This is me, being really fucking pouty and going 'damn newbies, get off my lawn'. Think more advertising may be necessary. Question is, *where*?

Off to see Milk. Look, an Oscar-nominated film I want to *watch*! (and not to mention : indie within reach of me that's not Leicester Square prices!)

Listening to Zorro musical st. Which was recorded live at one of the performances (they keep audience clapping in to prove this on the end of tracks). I frowned and went 'you know, this seems a bit lifeless compared to what I remember...' and went on youtube, listened to the trailer track the production put up there and the *single* bootleg one - and yeah, lo and behold, whoever was doing the editing did bland it. it's really, really noticeable on Emma William's (Luisa) numbers - which is seriously annoying considering this is one of the few cds that exist with her on it. You wouldn't notice if you hadn't seen it live.

:sigh: (though since parents requested to listen to the cd last night, i'm one step closer to getting them to see it...)

unclutter - pair of sandals and a cord skirt that mum picked up from oxfam and still has the oxfam price tag attached..

In other news, boss has got enthusiastic about a new toy, yammer, which we're supposed to update with whatever we're doing. I ignored it for several days, and am now taking the passive aggressive route by spamming it with *everything* I'm doing. 'tapping desk waiting for outlook's search functions' 'moving emails to another folder' 'replying to author' 'pasting correct info into xml editor'

Being cautiously optimistic/hopeful. I know, no Guy Flanagan and no Andrea Riseborough, which is severe of the pouty, but the new bods look interesting. We're speculating that they may be going more black comedy than drama with the new series. Fingers crossed, anyway.

Trying out knock-off uggs. Toasty toes. They'd probably be better if they were half a size smaller, and there's that thing where you're learning to walk in a new style of shoe. Doesn't help that I'm wearing the socks that have a habit of falling down to my toes in boots.

Uncluttering : threw out a bunch of very deceased nail polish. chucked several old perfume bottles into the recycling since the perfume in them was off. pair of shoes that've never fit me and a makeup bag that came free're off to oxfam.

Debating whether to go theatre tonight. Twelfth Night? Joseph? Treasure Island?

ETA : Got the last standing ticket for £10 for Twelfth Night w/ Derek Jacobi.
