last bits afore Fusion

Well, atch, that's tomorrow night, when I'm at tirinar's, where there will be the last minute bits done like cuffs and hat thingies. Was dumping main costume bits into suitcase for tomorrow packing when I suddenly realised I hadn't seen my swordbelt loop. Cue frantic searching. No joy, had to hare downstairs to make a new one. ...I'm taking four separate pairs of shoes to Fusion that are just for costume purposes. Someone shoot me now. (two costumes on Friday)

Tomorrow : driving lesson, pack, grab food, money, and birthday pressie for Alex, *then* get to Tors'.

Thursday : more food, perhaps, drive up to Blackpool, register, settle into con mode and scowl about being stupid enough to do raffle.

Am currently re-playing the trailer for Kevin Kline's Delovely, biography of Cole Porter. *So* pretty. And as ever, every time I look at anything with 20s and 30s costuming, I wail 'why can't it be like that now?' Aside, of course, from the fact that I don't have the figure for it.

What was the author you mentioned that did a really good crossover with BtVS/Angel? I can't even remember the fandom it was crossing with, as the last time I went to look at TtH, it was down for servicing.
