Pootle, pootle

Have spent day pootling about. Washing. Exhausting ff.net's discworld sections. Unfortunately, only a couple of decent ones in there. Cut the leggings-part for the Ghost costume, plus tried on the wig to have a proper look at it... and discovered that I really, really, don't suit dark-brown-auburn hair. At all. Black, yes, maybe a really, really dark brown like Dad's, but brunette in general is bad for me. Which is odd since clothing in that colour looks great on my skin tone. But still. White spandex. What the hell am I thinking?

heh. Got the discworld monthly newsletter, which had a link to The Silver Horde's Disccon '04 photos. Mostly of them and their mates, (and yes, the Cohen you see is pretty much the official Cohen) then came across one of me. If you're so inclined to look through, it's near the end, and it's a back view of me. All you can see is legs and hair. Mein gott. I don't have fabulous legs, as I'm built short and stocky, and most knee-high boots won't fit me due to size of calves. At least they're fairly toned most of the way up. (we don't mention the tops of the thighs or the hips) But my god am I reminded of a Strangers in Paradise moment. 'All you could see was legs and cleavage.'
