There is just so much to squee about this. The acting, the lines, the effects... oh god, the effects. My dad's words : 'There are no budget constraints when you can wipe the floor with ITV's ratings like this.' Also, miniosiris's hubby Paul has pointed out that the Beeb have just wiped the floor and thrown down the gauntlet to the US shows, because they've just done fantastic effects and make-up for a fraction of the cost that the US shows do and done it *better*.

Unlikely - I've seen rumours (for Torchwood) of late Autumn, although there is also a suggested start date of 17th June.
