Went to doc about the not-quite-migraine things and the sleeping shit.
So now have been told to lay off the caffeine, red wine and cheese, and try nytol for sleeping.
I don't drink wine, and cheese I can take or leave, but caffeine... oh christ. I tried today without it and was nearly nodding off by 4:30. At this point I can't tell how much of this is just how much i rely on the caffeine to get me through the work.
I...just... :wails, hugs coffee close: I like being an addict! It's fun! It gets me through my job!

Date: 2009-02-05 07:44 pm (UTC)That advice IS NOT from a fellow coffee-addict. That is advice from someone who was told 'Migraine? Oh they're caused by TRIGGER FOODS AND INTOLERANCES!' and spent 6 years unable to eat: Chocolate, coffee, cheese, anything with caffeine in it, carob, shellfish, citrus fruit, red wine/grape juice/anything with grapeskin colouring... It was no way to live.

I occassionally indulge in the odd red wine, but strong cheese & caffeine just hit me too quickly, especially caffeine, so I abstaine (sp?).
Also, Kenco or Nescafe Alta Rica decaffs are bloody brilliant!

Feverfew taken regularly might help too, thats been used for migraines for centuries.
And I am a herbal remedy geek :( I need to leave work at work.
